15-year-old Ulysse Ducerf is destined for great things, as he is the future heir to an industrial empire. But then his father’s past, in which he did business with the Germans during the occupation, catches up with him. The scandal leads Ulysse and his mother to a village in the provinces, far away from Paris, to wait out events until the dust has settled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ulysse, a sensitive boy who is more interested in art than the administration of an industrial group, has to spend his time tutoring because his performance suffers from his lack of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

But his life was about to change radically when he made the acquaintance of the bearded and spirited Cyrano, who leads an outsider’s life in the village. Years ago, after unexpectedly losing a prestigious cooking competition, the celebrity chef burned down his award-winning restaurant. The locals, many of whom had found employment there, have never forgiven him since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The young man and the old man take a liking to each other and Cyrano begins to introduce him to the art of cooking without Ulysse’s mother’s knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
