The fire at Notre-Dame in Paris throws Victor the pigeon’s life into disarray. Previously with his parents, a home and a community of the Notre-Dame pigeon clan, he is suddenly confronted with the hardships of survival on the streets of Paris.
Birds of prey and pigeons from other clans make life and survival difficult for him if he didn’t come across helpful loners, both among the pigeons and humans. With an unexpected career as a pigeon artist, he is able to help his fellow pigeons and win the love of a pretty pigeon from the Sacré-Cœur clan.
On 136 pages lovingly drawn by Julia ROBIN and Charles FERRY and written by Val REIYEL, we gain an insight into the existence and experiences of deaf people, who are often only perceived as rats of the air.
